Kathmandu to Pokhara the road condition is very nice and is very scenic. The buses are very nice with professional service. It is about 5 to 6 hrs drive. In Pokhara, you will be escorted to Hotel (3 star very nice hotel). Room check-in and later free time on which you may take a tour to with your guide to Phewa Lake and near by area. Day 03:

morning breakfast around 7am, and then drive to Beni (3 hrs). Leave the vehicle that we took from Pokhara and enjoy 10 to 15 minutes free walking in the town. It is good to stretch your legs for a while. Beni is a booming town of the region and mostly busy. You may find interesting to see what’s going on. Then your guide will find a good restaurant for having lunch. After lunch we board into another Jeep that takes us (3hrs) to Tatopani. Tatopani is a hot spring site, located on the bank of Kalagandaki River. It is good to dip into the hot water pool for a while; even though the condition of the pool and other facilities are just the basic. The pool opens until 7pm, but chances are if we make a request through the Lodge owner it may be opened until 8 or 8:30pm. If this could happen it will be a kind of private booking! Let this arrange to your Gudie! So, it is suggested to include a pair of swimsuit.

The road from Beni to Tatopani runs on the bank of Kaligandaki River and still it has beautiful sceneries to see. It is possible to peep the peak of Annapurna South from various places while driving. There are in many places the deep cut gorges or the immensely huge boulders or the sky piercing canyon soared from the Kaligandaki water. These all things can be the piece of interests.

Lodge accommodation. Clean, cozy and with hot shower.

Day 04:

breakfast around 8am. If interested, again there is sometime to dip into the hot water pool. Later, jeep drive (about an hour) to Titar. There is an attractive waterfall, named ‘Rupse’. We may take photo of it and walk for a while and arrive to ‘Kavre’, the vary point has been the deepest gorge in the world. Make the glorious walk over almost a 100 meter long suspension bridge and walk on an inclined trail passing some Bhatties where the kids may ask you “school pens” or “candies”. This will be an interesting walk for another 2 hours until to the bottom of Ghasa village where we may get to cross another similar bridge to cross over Kaligandaki. From here Ghasa village is 15 minutes walk.

Upon arrival in Ghasa village/check in Lodge. If interested, it is possible to take a walk to a village school. It is a small settlement with, an army post and the check point of ACAP. So, your trek permit is checked/registered here.

Day 05:

breakfast before 8am. Then the members may be divided into two groups. All the interested to walk to Titi lake, should follow the trail that directs towards the Annapurna I which at the beginning makes an easily descending for 20 minutes where we cross the Kaligandaki river and go to Chhayo village. In the beginning of this village there are two trails – the right fork leads to the base camp of Annapurna I (8091m.). We take the left one and walk for a while on the pail trail and then through the sloppy ridge for an hour to arrive to Taklung village. Titi Lake is 45 minute away to walk from Taklung. The lake itself is not that particularly attractive but all of here; such as the villages, people, and the special view of Dhaulagiri Icefall and other Himalayan peaks will make your visit truly rewarded.

The another group which wants to take the direct course to Larjung will have an easy walk following the Kaligandaki river bank. This will be an interesting walk viewing the Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri. And at the sandy river of Kaligandaki, we may people looking for the fossils or the ammonites; which in Nepal is called “Saligram” a religious object.

We may wait for the group of Titi lake at Kokhethanti. To kill the time why not we look for the fossils. The lucky one always find the nice fossil.

Larjung is about 1 hr and half trek from Kokhethanti. Overnight at lodge at Larjung.

Day 06:

drive to Jomsom after breakfast (for 2 hrs). Upon arrival here, we check in lodge and enjoy the free time until lunch. After lunch we may take walk to Thini village – this village has been just off from the main travelers’ trail so still very tradition and very less influenced with the modernity of Jomsom. Dhumba Lake is another half hour walk towards the Mt. Nilgiri. While returning you may visit a fish farm, apple orchards and even the Jomsom Eco Museum. The Museum is an ethnographical collection of the area, takes about an hour to visit it. It takes 2 to 3 hours for the whole circular trip.

If there is spare time it is good to observe the town hustle and bustle or use internets or just enjoy sampling foods including the apple brandy.

The area above Larjung village is windy at the afternoon. So, a nice wind-breaker is suggested to get along. The wind may effect your camera too, so a dust-proof or handle with a care is better!
